Nothing finishes a gift, favour or package like a custom Gift Tag. You may have noticed that we don’t actually sell Gift Tags as a product at Printed.com – so why are we talking about them?
We don’t think your creativity should be limited when it comes to your Gift Tag options, so we won’t offer you a one-size-fits-all solution! Instead, we offer Gift Tags as a product, through our Bespoke Service. That means you can create yours however you like – from standard square or rectangle to Die Cut in your choice of shape.
If you’re feeling really fancy, you can even add Foiling, Spot UV, Laser Cutting or White Ink. Or, if you want to go straightforward, why not use one of Business Card options and finish them yourself? All you need is a hole punch and some ribbon or string. Easy.
Ok, that’s a lot of choice. So where do you start? We’ve done the research for you, so you can just sit back and get inspired. Take a look at some of our favourite creative Gift Tags here…
Mini Cards make ideal Gift Tags and Labels. Their skinny size makes for an intriguing finish, but be mindful that you’ll be limited when it comes to writing space on these prints. They’re best suited for product packaging and gift wrapping in-store.
For a modern twist, square gift tags are ideal for finishing products and packaging. They look especially great as wedding favours or tied around table decorations for an unusual twist on a Wedding Table Name.
Perhaps the most widely recognised shape for gift tags, just because they’re traditional doesn’t mean you can’t make ’em beautiful. We love what teacher-turned-designer, Sue Halstead, has done with hers!
If you’re looking for maximum space, a Folded Business Card is ideal as a gift tag. Feature your design on the front and leave the inside blank for a personal message. We recommend TruCard or an uncoated, textured paper for these types of tags as they’re easy to write on and look great!
If you want to create a unique shape, we’ll help you find the perfect fit with Die Cutting. Whether you cut a unique shape, or experiment with cut-out accents, this kind of finish is ideal for unique gift tags that add a little extra to your gifts or packaging.
When is a Gift Tag not just a Gift Tag? You’ve probably come across multi-tag swing tags used as clothes labels, but have you ever thought about using them yourself? Create your own mini promos, include details about your business or brand, include your hashtag or social handles – you could even add an extra tag as a unique surprise and delight voucher code.
