As 2017 draws to a close, we wanted to celebrate our incredible customers and their beautiful printed creations. So we couldn’t end the year without looking back at some of our ultimate favourites, a ‘best of top 15’ Friday’s Favourites compilation to inspire you all into 2018! Enjoy, and have a very Merry Christmas and happy New Year!
Starting us off is the most 2017 of all business cards designed by the delightful Rosie behind the business Pink Rosebud. Offering greeting cards, prints, giftware and homeware, her use of pastels and marble are super on trend.
As this stunning flat lay shot by the talented Holly Booth Photography shows, Alice’s perfect branded packages will make any business look and feel the part! Based in Devon, Alice is obsessed with stationery, pretty paper and chocolate digestives. Us too Alice!
London based Hope Glass Illustration is all about luxury meets cool, which is why this pun card works so well with a decadent foiled finish. Passionate about illustration, drawing, tea and her cat, Hope always manage to create something extra special.
This was tough just to choose one card designer, but what we love about Kelly (apart from the fact she’s the owner of the cutest dog known to mankind or that she’s a proud Hufflepuff) is that her designs are Christmassy without being obviously festive. They’re a brilliant mix of beautiful creativity with a hint of yuletide cheer. The paired back look complements the lighter colour palette perfectly.
Not just great for Christmas, Natalie’s wrapping paper here can be used all year around, and feels super special thanks to its crystal inspired design. Illustrator and stationery designer Natalie also creates homeware, and loves dogs, cakes and drawings.
The Insect Mandala Notebooks are from The Curious Department’s new stationery range and feature foiling both front and back thanks to our bespoke foiling service. Ideal for adding a touch of luxury to your print, digital foiling comes in six decadent hues. If you’re looking for something a little out of the ordinary, just like The Curious Department did, our bespoke service may be what you need.
Brighton based stationer Vicky Perry created the most 2017 on-trend wedding stationery here with THE fruit of the moment, pineapple, combined with a gilding of gold. A perfect mix of luxurious, modern, but with a cool twist.
Jade Marshall specialises in personalised typography prints, wall art, invites, card, gifts and more. She created this bespoke print selfie board for Marvel fan’s birthday party and we think it looks super fantastic! The little character superheroes are adorable.
Carla’s watercolour galaxy invites are so dreamy. Finished with her trademark calligraphy, Edinburgh based Carla has made an invitation into a real work of art. If only the sky looked as beautiful as this every night!
With hand lettering and bright floral designs on a contrasting black background, Lucy’s flyers were always going to stand out. However, by printing on a textured paper stock, she has also guaranteed a luxe look and feel. Lucy creates illustrated stationery, chalkboards and paper crafts for all the celebrations you can think of.
Freelance illustrator and designer Katie is always armed with her trusty 2H pencil. A cat pun fan, Katie put together some of her favourite feline creations into a must-have cat Calendar. Based on real celebrities, her cat calendar is purrrfect!
Sally created some stunning logo and brand identity print, including stickers for independent and rather lovely Cheshire jewellery boutique What Katy Did. Beautiful tonal colours and lots of variety for the client to choose from!
Considering we post customer creations on a fryday (get it!?!) we had to include drawing fan Sian Landau who made these not poached but perfectly formed eggy postcards. Printed on silk coated A6 paper, the plain and simple stock lets the illustration do all the talking.
London based illustrator and artist Kateryna has us all of aquiver over her stunning designs of buildings, gardens, and streets. Inspired by the capital, architecture and parks, she’s a Central Saint Martins graduate and now works for a greeting card publisher.
Author, artist, Zen Buddhist and vegan Mike created this mini-comic all about stopping the whole rat race scenario and enjoying in just being. Inspiring work Mike – we’re sending good karma vibes right your way!
